Farming Fest (our second alpha release)

From May 29th to June 7th 2024, get ready to dive into the next exciting chapter of Moonfrost: Farming Fest 🌱

What can you except from our second Closed Alpha Release of Moonfrost?

Tend to your Farm

Well you may of guessed it but one of the major features is to jump into one of our core game features, farming! You’ll be able to start off with the basics using tools you’re probably familiar with like a stone axe to cut trees, and after a while you’ll be onto more unique tools at your disposal on your farming journey like The Earthquaker (image Thor’s hammer but for farming you can see it in action in this post).

 Build your home

One of the bigger features we have been developing since our first alpha release in Q4 2023. In Moonfrost you’ll be able to build your dream home, wall by wall having full customisation, if you have played The Sims you will probably feel at home with this feature with our own fresh twist on it.

Isometric room with kitchen, living area, and forest setting. Two characters; one stands indoors, another outside with a speech bubble.
Some early WIP build mode features

Meet some NPCs

As this release will be single player we thought you maybe lonely on your farm so we wanted to give you two guests to interact with; Ash and Walter. We are pre warning you someone maybe a little spicey though…

Character with dreadlocks gestures questioningly in a colorful homestead. Text reads: "Ash: What's the Welcome List?" Warm lighting and soft focus.
Ash is someone you'll learn to love or hate...Be warned they are a little spicy

Collect SHARDs

In this release we have something called SHARDs (oh shinny) , these are rewarded for participating in leaderboard tasks inside of the game, we also have some unique events planned which is focused around creativity and player creations. We will reveal after the release what these actually do...

A glowing blue and purple crystal (SHARD) hovers above a pond with lily pads at night, surrounded by trees and soft sparkling lights (FROSTfall).
SHARDs...

Please remember that Farming Fest is part of our Closed Alpha Development, which means the game is still in its early stages. What you’ll experience is a snapshot of the final vision, with many exciting features, polish, and surprises still to come.

We’re constantly improving based on your invaluable feedback. Expect bugs, quirks, and room for growth, but know that each playtest helps us shape Moonfrost into the best it can be.

Thank you for being part of the journey. We are ALL Moonfrost! 🌟
