It's been less than 2 months and we are already releasing our next closed alpha, and it's called 'The Village'. Can you guess what it's about?!

So what can you expect to do in Alpha Release 3?

Explore the Village

You'll get to experience the start of the main social hub in Moonfrost, it's still in a very early version but it'll get a peak at the direction we are going. The Village in this release will be accessible but won't have much utility, so please go and take a look around, and you'll start to see shops opening up that you can interact with; buy resources, chat to NPCs or your friends, and maybe even find clues about FROST...

Music Integration

This may not be the most obvious addition but we really want players to feel like the world is a living breathing world, and part of that has a lot to do with what you hear. So we've had a big pass over our sound design and also music. We recently released our original soundtrack, so now if you'd like you can listen to Moonfrost in and out of game!

Quality of Life Improvements from player feedback from Alpha Release 2

We've implemented several quality of life improvements which came directly from player feedback from previous alpha releases. Some of those improvements you'll see in-game is...

Improved character art style
Increased inventory stacking
Altered character progression with an improved task system
New decorations to craft for your homestead
New spawning system for resources on your farm

When will Alpha Release 3 start?

Alpha Release 3 will release on July 29th 2024, we haven't announced a clear end date

Is Alpha Release 3 still closed? Yes, all our alpha releases are going to be closed, however we do bring on new players each release and gain the role 'Founding FROST-Hunter' as you now have access to every release! How to become a Founding FROST-Hunter?

It's really easy just sign up [LINK TO SIGN UP FORM] and you will receive an email inviting you to play closer to alpha releases starting. Can I stream Moonfrost Alpha Release 3? Yes there is no NDA in-place feel free to stream and create any content, we just ask you inform your community it's still in alpha game development. What platforms with Alpha Release 3 be on? We will release on PC supporting Windows and Mac users, and you can play with Epic Games after you have been given a free redeem code (via email)
